Sites break. A bank page stuck spinning, a payroll portal that will not load, and the answer is always the same: open it in Google Chrome. Availability is the part coverage skips: it is limited by country, by platform, and in its fullest form by a paid subscription with a daily cap on tasks. Anyone downloading the browser for the AI layer should check their region first.

The desktop builds for Windows, Mac, and Linux are the same browser with the same extensions and developer tools. Mobile differs. On Android the engine matches the desktop, but desktop extensions have never been supported, so blocking has to happen elsewhere on the system. Microsoft Edge is Chrome with better housekeeping. It runs the same engine, so sites behave identically and Chrome extensions install directly, and its sleeping tabs and efficiency mode are tuned for Windows laptops on battery. It inherits the same extension limits with the same engine.
Mozilla Firefox is the only mainstream browser left that does not run on Google’s engine, which is the whole point of it. It kept the older extension platform, so the full uBlock Origin still works, and its tracking protection is stronger out of the box. It also holds up better at high tab counts. What it gives up is the occasional site built and tested only in Chromium.
