PrivadoVPN launched in April 2019 under Privado Networks AG, based in Zug, Switzerland. It started as an enterprise product before opening to consumers that December with a free tier. It is one of the few VPNs still owned by its founders rather than a holding company, and it operates under Swiss privacy law with a stated zero-logging policy.
