The rename from Samsung Internet to Samsung Browser
Samsung dropped “Internet” from the name, and the app is now called Samsung Browser. Same product, same package, same data underneath, so nothing needs reinstalling and nothing was replaced. The change reached the newest Galaxy phones first and then rolled backwards to older models through an app update, which is why two phones in the same house can show two different names. Speed, battery, and where the preloading advantage comes from
Page rendering is Chromium, so raw loading speed lands where every Chromium browser lands. The difference people report is startup, and that comes from preloading on Galaxy devices and not from the engine, so it disappears on other hardware.
