RoboForm is one of the oldest password managers still in active development, released in 1999 by Siber Systems of Fairfax, Virginia. It began as a form-filling utility before becoming a full password manager, adding a business edition in 2009, a subscription service in 2015 and a free tier in 2017. The company remains privately held rather than venture-funded.
